“Unfortunately, Notes has stopped”

Trying to go into “All Notes” shows my list of notes for a brief moment, then immediately reverts back to the home screen with the message, “Unfortunately, Notes has stopped.”

I’ve only had my device for a week. I’m able to go to notes from the home screen or the calendar, but I cannot access “All Notes.”

The home screen only lets me access the three most recently opened notes. :/

I have checked, and I have the newest software update, v5.34.4.4711

Also, restarting and cold booting hasn’t helped.

Also, I have 3.74 GB of available space, and not that many books or notes. But I’d like to retain the ones I’ve made, if at all possible.

Well, I had to wipe everything and restore from a backup, which unfortunately was a day old.

Looks like I will be returning it through Amazon. Pity, I like the device.
