Check the Wi-Fi frequency band of both your Wi-Fi network device and on your MobiScribe, to make sure they match. Typically the frequency choices are 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. On the MobiScribe, go into Settings, Wi-Fi, then select the 3 dots in upper right corner, then Advanced, then Wi-Fi frequency band. You may want to change it from Auto to the matching frequency of your Wi-Fi device, to see if that helps your network connection.
